Absolutely delicious cheeseburgers and onion rings! Fantastic barbecue, hush puppies and fries! Welcoming and warm service! Definitely worth a stop for a great tasting meal!

Messed up our order, tiny burgers, and bad service. I haven't been bamboozled in a while but this place got me. Very disappointing.

The food was excellent and the service was great as well. Ken's big boy burger is enough to fill up just about anyone! Very reasonably priced as well. Haleigh and Kayla provided me with excellent service and were very friendly. I will be going back.

A great place for a great meal. We love many of their dishes and never even had the famous fish stew yet. It’s always sold out before we can get the there!

Good bbq and daily specials. You can count on the food to taste consistently. Prices are good amd it's a comfortable laid back grill.

I've only had breakfast here but it is always good. On this Wednesday I heard them chopping the bbq on my way in, on my way out I caught the smell of vinegar and knew they were saucing the que. They also have fish stew on Fridays.

Awesome hobo sandwich

My husband and I chose to eat our 22nd anniversary lunch here; and we were not disappointed. Our cheeseburgers were served hot and fresh. We received excellent service from Jessi. Due to the current lockdown, we ate our lunch tailgate style in their parking lot. Jessi was still quite attentive to our needs. To our surprise, the owners insisted on treating us to ice cream to celebrate our anniversary. We are grateful! We will definitely return again and again!

First time visiting Ken's in a good while due to work schedule. We have eaten lots of good meals at Ken's but one today wasn't one of them. ... ordered shrimp & flounder combo..... flounder was o.k. shrimp were very small and heavily breaded with no flavor at all. Obviously frozen and something you would expect to get from a fast food restaurant. Reported it to waitress and she said she would pass it on.

Small place and not much to look at. Very loud at lunch and crowded, but has the best BBQ in the area. Well worth the aggravation.

The BBQ is very good. The seafood is very good. The burgers are outstanding. Nothing fancy or gourmet, but good luck finding a better burger. Good folks too.

Its national cheeseburger day. Had to get a great cheeseburger not a run of the mill. Fries were fresh and staff was friendly.

Very good fried flounder. 12 dollars for the flounder, onion rings, slaw, hush puppies and tea. That's more expensive than Bojangles, but better food.

Anytime I'm near Ken's around lunch time on a Friday I have to stop for a bowl of fish stew, since it is only available on Fridays. Once it's gone that's it for the day. The bowl comes filled to brim with plenty of fish, potatoes and eggs in a red base that includes bacon. Served with hush puppies and/or sliced white bread. Breakfast is also good. I had scrambled eggs with 4 big strips of bacon, grits and a biscuit. If you don't like country food served on disposable plates Ken's may not be for you. It is for me.

The food is Great!

If you want a good, simple 'burger and fries for lunch, Ken's is the place for you. Absolutely delicious, not so big you can't even get it in your mouth, but just right. Convenient location, ample parking for car traffic and a very large tractor-trailer parking section. Whenever we're heading West on 70 from New Bern, we hold out for Ken's for breakfast as well. The bbq beef was absolutely amazing!

Prices are on the high side, but the food is great. Personally I would rather pay a few extra dollars and know the food is goi g to be great.
